Art Association of Australia and New Zealand. The AAANZ is the national professional body for Australian and NZ Art Historians. Its membership is comprised principally of academics in art and design, postgraduate students, artists and designers, and gallery and museum professionals.

Association of Art Historians. The AAH promotes the professional practice and public understanding of art history.AAH are a UK-based membership organisation for those with a professional commitment to and interest in art history and visual culture. The AAH plays a key role at national level in helping shape and secure the future of the discipline. We provide and initiate events, publications, funding, resources and networks for the benefit of 1400 members and the wider art history community. This includes the leading academic journal, Art History, and the internationally renowned AAH annual conference.

College Art Association. CAA includes among its members those who by vocation or avocation are concerned about and/or committed to the practice of art, teaching, and research of and about the visual arts and humanities. Over 12,000 artists, art historians, scholars, curators, critics, collectors, educators, publishers, and other professionals in the visual arts belong as individual members. Another 2,000 departments of art and art history in colleges and universities, art schools, museums, libraries, and professional and commercial organizations hold institutional memberships.
